Another Step Toward Advancing International Cooperation at the University of Science and Culture: Submission of Two Proposals for the Jean Monnet European Grant

The International Affairs Office of the University of Science and Culture, after six months of continuous efforts and collaboration among faculty members from various departments, has successfully submitted two proposals for the prestigious Jean Monnet European grant.

This process began with three specialized workshops titled "Familiarization with International Grants" and continued with seven training sessions on "Proposal Writing for International Grants." These efforts culminated in the submission of two specialized proposals in the fields of Tourism Studies and Humanities on the European Commission’s platform.

The proposal development process was led by Dr. Seyed Hossein Tabatabaei Nasab, Head of International Research Projects at Allameh Tabataba’i University. Key contributors to this achievement include:

  • Dr. Razieh Sadat Akhavat, Director of the International Cooperation Development Office and faculty member of the Faculty of Engineering
  • Dr. Mohammad Sadegh Bijandi, Faculty member of the Faculty of Humanities
  • Dr. Ebrahim Haj-Khanmirzaei Sarraf, Director General of the Office of Scientific Cooperation and Industry-Society Relations, and faculty member of the Faculty of Humanities
  • Dr. Parvaneh Ghasemian, Faculty member of the Faculty of Art and Architecture
  • Dr. Siavash Imeni, Faculty member of the Faculty of Tourism Studies
  • Bita Irani, PhD student at the Faculty of Tourism Studies

This significant accomplishment was made possible with the support of Dr. Ali Sa’dollah, Vice President for Research and Technology and Director of the International Affairs Office at the University of Science and Culture.
